Shalhevet Robinson Cahana, Talmud & Halacha faculty at Manhattan Jewish Day School, Graduate Program for Advanced Talmudic Studies (GPATS) graduate, and a Community Scholar, will join us as Scholar-in-Residence.

Singer Dvir Cahana is a third year Smicha student at Yeshivat Chovevei Torah and a star in the Jewish hip hop scene. His 10 studio albums show a love of Yiddishkeit and wordplay. He has performed on stages across North America including Sababa Fest, End of the Weak World MC Challenge, and The Leaders Assembly Summit.

Dvir was a recipient of the Jewish Week's "36 under 36" award for launching The Amen Institute, where artists and rabbis unite to inspire each other in the creation of Torah-art.

Dvir lives with his wife Shalhevet in Washington Heights.
